Bruno-Henri VINCENT and Jorden WOUTERS met as lawyers and accredited mediators.
With more than 30 years of professional experience as lawyers, and more than 15 years of experience as mediators, they had a lot of experience to share.
One of their observations was the public’s disappointment in traditional justice on the one hand. And a certain resistance towards so-called alternative dispute solutions on the other. Mediation is often seen as a risky investment whose success depends entirely on the other party. Arbitration, on the other hand, is considered too costly and suffers from the same shortcomings as traditional justice: a lack of sincerity, a minefield full of procedural issues, complex, etc.
From these observations grew the idea of creating an alternative route combining dialogue, negotiation, possibly mediation and the binding third-party decision.
This solution offers another form of justice, which can be labelled efficient, adapted, ethical, based on consensus and affordable.
Even if the parties do not reach an amicable settlement, a binding decision will follow, based on fairness and putting a definitive end to the dispute.
These principles were the basis for the establishment of ARBITRALL in October 2022.
Thank you very much for placing your trust in us,
